Computer Engineering

Introduction

The Computer Engineering Department was established in the year 2007. The goal of the department is to establish state-of-the-art computing environment to develop competent computer engineers imbibed with the spirit of professionalism and responsible citizenship.

The department has continuously upgraded the infrastructure according to changing needs. Departmental Library is enriched with heaps of books. Campus-wide collaborations with industries, aided in bridging the gap between academics and industries. Industry offered projects, trainings, internships, workshops and experts’ lectures provide students, faculties with excellent exposure to world of practice. Incredible technical efforts and enthusiasm of students and due guidance of faculties drew excellent opportunities in giants like Volga, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, Tata Consultancy services, Jio and many more. Our students imprinted their success in competitive and other exams like GATE, GRE, GMAT also. To unleash students’ talent, every year department organizes technical events. Exploring the other world of talent, our students have shown excellence in sports, cultural and social activities.

Our students publish their project work in international journals and conferences. Department has always shown its commitment towards achieving objectives through individual contribution.

The aim of the department is to provide high quality education along with training the students with all the new advancements in the computers field. The department places emphasis on all the important aspects of computers such as high speed networks, mobile networks, algorithm design, operational research, advance database systems, theory of computation, computer graphics and many more. The department also takes initiative to improve the soft skills, analytical capabilities and verbal communication of the students so that they can face the competition in the corporate world confidently.
