An Isolation and Hunger Relief Center for needy people during this Covid 19 virus spread period has been opened at Dr Shivajirao S Jondhle Knowledge City Campus at Asangaon, Shahapur on Mumbai Nashik Highway, Thane, Maharashtra. Protocols related to social distancing are strictly followed. This is a kind and noble gesture by Dr Shivajirao S Jondhle, our Hon.President of Vighnaharata Trust, Dombivili, Thane, Maharashtra.
District Level Debating Competition on 4th Dec 2019 arranged by Superintendent of Police Thane Rural on "Societal changes rather than stricter law for safer environment for Women" on the occasion of Police Raising Day.
NSS unit celebrated constitution day on 26 November 2019. Anoop Awasthi Advocate(Ex Indian army) shared his ideas and thoughts. Preamble of constitution was read by the volunteers. Principal teaching staff and non teaching staff along with 45 volunteers attended the program.
NSS unit organised a street play on 11th October ,2019 regarding "Voter's Rights" at Asangaon Railway Station and also a rally from station to college. Our performance and Skit message was appreciated by Station Master,Railway Staff and Public.
On the ocassion of 150th Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti NSS unit has organised a mega event on student's solar lamp ambassador workshop and also taken pledge on non violence towards environment.
Library Setup Program organised on 30-09-2019 at Zilla Parishad school in adopted village Dolkhamb.100 books were donated in presence of sarpanch, counsellor,NSS PO's ,NSS leaders and volunteers.
On 28th sept 2019 the fifth day of NSS week, NSS unit visited Matoshree Vrudashram oldage home ,Khadavli. Volunteers distributed medicines, fruits and biscuits and had interaction with people over there. Volunteers actively participated in Ashram cleaning drive. On the eve of Navratri they also had Garba dance with the old people. This programme happened in pleasant ambience.
Heavy Monsoon Rains caused severe flooding in Kolhapur and Sangli. The floods paralyzed normal life of millions of people. Hundreds of houses were damaged and thousands of families were forced to take shelter in relief camps. The floods victims of Kolhapur and Sangli were in desperate need of relief support to survive and get back to their normal life. So as to help the people of Kolhapur and Sangli we at SHIVAJIRAO S. JONDHALE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, ASANGAON decided to help them by contributing relief materials (NO CASH).

On 17th September, 2019 Teacher's Day was celebrated with entry of teachers on the music of nashik dhol and party pops. ‘A good teacher can inspire hope , ignite imagination and instill love for learning’.The assembly began with lightning of lamp done by our Principal Dr.(Mrs) Geetha K. Jayraj ,H.O.D Prof. Vishal Shinde and our Staff. And followed by the dance performance on ‘Ganesh Vandana’ and talk highlighting the contribution of teachers in a student’s life with beautiful poem highlighting the importance of aguru (teacher).The Principal madam addressed all the teachers with her inspiring words. She thanked all the teachers and students for their diligence, sincerity and hardwork. All the Staff and Principal were given gifts by the Students and Senior Coordinator of the college.
On 16 July 2019 Guru Purnima was celebrated by Department of Computer Engineering in our Institute. Our Hon. Principal Dr. (Mrs). Geetha K. Jayaraj addressed the students and staff and emphasized the importance of such celebrations. She appreciated and congratulated the organizers of the event. The programme was followed by the students’ cultural activities.

According to Prime Minister's clarion call on 2nd October 2014 for each individual to devote at least 100 hours to Swachhata through the year, the Ministry of Human Resource Development in association with the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation has launched the 'Swachh Bharat Summer Internship Program 2018’, for Duration from 1st May to 31st July 2018.
Our Total 72 (8 Teams & 1 Individual) students enrolled for the same. They adopted various Villeges as a Work Field & Performed various activities like Awareness Campaigns, School level rallies, Wall Paintings, Movie Screenings, Distribution of Sanitory Pads, Donation of School Accessories, Door to Door visits, Waste Collection Drives, Development of Compost Pits etc.
All the Students completed their 100 Hours & appreciated by People & Grampanchayat of respective Village.
